About the role

Build the next version of our customer dashboard. React 18, TypeScript, GraphQL. Strong focus on performance and design quality.

We have a working dashboard today serving ~12,000 daily active users. It works but it shows its age: Redux patterns from 2019, component library inherited from three agencies, and a design debt the current team has been too busy to pay down. Your job is to lead the rewrite — not just port the code, but re-think the UX patterns and set the performance bar where it should be.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the dashboard rewrite architecture
  • Partner with the design lead on the component library
  • Own performance budgets (LCP, INP, bundle size)
  • Mentor two mid-level engineers

What we’re looking for

  • React 18 + TypeScript, senior level
  • GraphQL client experience (Apollo, urql, or TanStack Query)
  • Has led at least one greenfield dashboard rewrite
  • Opinions on animation + micro-interactions, backed by shipped work
