About the role

Tune the LLM that handles 60% of our customer support tickets across English + German. You'll own the prompt library, the eval harness, the human-in-the-loop sampling strategy, and the model migration runbooks. Eval-first culture — every change ships with a measurable proof.

What you’ll do

Own the prompt library + the eval harness
Run weekly human-in-the-loop sampling and triage
Drive the model-migration playbook (provider + version upgrades)
Partner with support ops on the escalation logic
Document everything so the next maintainer ships safely

What we’re looking for

Shipped a customer-facing LLM workflow at >10k requests/day
Designs evals before prompts — not after
Comfortable across Claude, GPT-4o, and at least one open-weights model
Reads model spec sheets the way developers read API docs
Speaks fluent German (or proven track record working with German support data)
