About the role

Build the FP&A function for a Series-A startup post-fundraise. You'll set up the forecasting models, drive the monthly close, and prep the board deck financials. Fractional (2-3 days/week) with the option to expand.

What you’ll do

• Set up the monthly close + the rolling 18-month forecast
• Build the financial model the founder uses in every board meeting
• Drive the budget vs actuals review with department leads
• Lead the diligence prep ahead of the next fundraise
• Document everything for the eventual full-time hire

What we’re looking for

• Has owned FP&A at a Series-A or B startup
• Builds models a non-finance founder can read and trust
• Has prepped board materials with VC-led boards
• Strong on cash forecasting + runway modelling
• Discreet, organised, and reliable on cadence
